Election history
Conservatives won both Cottingham South seats in 2015 and 2019. Labour won both seats in 2023. Every figure below comes from the official East Riding result pages.
Cottingham South elects two councillors. Each voter may cast up to two candidate votes. “Second seat margin” compares the lower placed winner with the highest placed candidate who was not elected.
The ward in 2027
The Local Government Boundary Commission's final recommendations retain Cottingham South as a two councillor ward for the 2027 elections. The review's electorate baseline differs slightly from the election register used on polling day.
